Hi lovelies.

I have seen so much more visitors the last days even though I haven't posted anything! Welcome you shall be and I promise to post something better than this soon again. I have been a bit busy with things and work takes so much strength from me that I can`t bear to be creative and write stuff other than things that will bore you till death...so I don`t with your well being in mind.

I have been working a little bit on a little thing from my list and I hope I will be able to post it before April sneaks by me unnoticed.

 

 

I finally got my order from the Poison Apple Apothecary. Oh this is scent heaven. You may call me crazy for buying perfumes and lotions online and not being able to smell them first. But it`s kind of fun and opening the bottles and jars are such a surprise. They never smell like I have imagined.

 

BLACK RING MAFIA is a body butter or as they call it "embalming creme"♥
Full bodied black currant, smoky vanilla bean, and hints of musk is the scent. It smells so yummy! Out of the two I got this is my favorite.

 

WHITE RABBIT is the other one!
This scent is sweet and creamy with notes of White Chocolate, Sassafras, Caramel, and Cognac. Also very nice.

 

I am about to run out of my old perfumes and buying something cruel is not an option. I like the perfumes from Lush but they don`t stay on my skin for as long as I would like. So I thought this was a perfect opportunity to try something new.

I got myself three perfume samples and this is how they are described:

 

GARDEN OF GRAVES
This scent was created to capture the essence of the great cemeteries of the south- namely Savannah, Charleston, and New Orleans. Not only are the cemeteries of these cities final resting places, they also hold a haunting aesthetic appeal through their design and architecture. The southern foliage mixes with the humid air to create a heady garden perfume all its own- sweet fresh earth scattered with brambles of white and red roses guarded by austere live oaks heavy with spanish moss.

 

BLOODLUST
This bold and powerful blend is a raging swirl of blood red rose, smoky patchouli, and deep musk. Patchouli is a potent essence that is said to help balance one's Earth and Fire energy, even though both may be strong forces. Rose is known for its anti-anxiety properties; together, this combination will aid in standing your ground and becoming a force to be reckoned with.

 

SWEET ALICE
"Curiouser and curiouser!" This blend evokes the sweetest qualities of our dear curious Alice in a blend of rich buttercream, tart black currants, a generous scoop of sugar, and strawberries growing wild throughout the forest.

 

I am totally in love with Sweet Alice. Oh my! I need to get a full bottle ♥ Bloodlust is my second favorite and Garden of graves is in the last place of the three, still I like that one a lot too.

I have heard the whole thing and I can assure you it`s superb ^^ there is no release date yet but I will get back to you about that.

Sometimes I get these days when it seems impossible to have time to blog. I guess it`s a good thing called life. Anyways, I thought I would give you an update on how my running is going.

I am sad to say I can`t run. My knees said NO big time. I don`t know the reason, may be many small things put together. Like running on asphalt, being unused to the stress you get on you body while running, my shoes maybe aren't the best for me and maybe I just weigh too much! Guess some kilos have sneaked up on me this winter...

I can tell you that I now at least have started to feel motivated enough to start eating healthy enough to loose weight. The motivation all the other times this winter have been half ass and I have fallen for all temptations.

Yesterday I went on a long walk in the forrest. I felt like it was something I really needed to do. Kind of a reload of my energy and brain. The best part was that the sun was shining and the temperature was high enough to wear a short sleeved top. I also saw a lot of spring flowers popping up in slopes where it gets extra warm.

 

I got really exited and happy when I saw all the delicate flowers in all the old leaves and took a lots of pictures with my phone. I even saw a couple of butterflies. One Gonepteryx rhamni and Aglais urticae Linné 1758. Unfortunate I didn`t get a picture of any of them. They where far to busy and did not have the time to settle anywhere.

The same day I found my beautiful second hand heels I passed by my favorite shop in town. I had as usual a nice chat with the wonderful shop owner and bought a new top from Spin Doctor that I have been eying for a while. I haven`t even tried it on before because I think it`s too pricy. But this time it was on the half off rack! Yay! I tried on the skirt that goes with it too but my size was sold out. Too bad because it looked so nice. Maybe I will look for it online.

I bought myself a new eyeshadow last week. I had a coupon for 20% discount on a make up product and when I saw this beauty I could not resist! 119:- Sek is the full price at Kicks here in Sweden. IsaDora is a cruelty free brand and you can find it everywhere in Scandinavia. I also love IsaDoras glossy eyeliner, but more about that some other time.

I tried it out in the store and was amazed over the high pigmentation. It is kind of metallic in the finish too, something I have been looking for.

Today I have a late shift at work and could manage to squeeze in a blog post! Yay!

I am in such a good mood these days and I believe it is the return of spring and sun. It feel so good to get some light and flower into my life again. Last Thursday after work I cleaned the balcony. There were so much leafs and old wilted plants out there and it all looked so sad.

Some new pansys that can survive the night frost and a good cleaning of the furniture made it really cozy out there.

The day after I had the time to sit there for a while and when the sun was out it was really warm enough to sit in a sleeveless top. I long for the days when I can sit there in my bikini & big sun hat reading books in a jungle of flowers. I am not going to hold back this year. I will plant as much as I can. I did not get my garden this year either so I think I am allowed. The plan is so far to have a cherry tomato plant, herbs in boxes hanging on the balcony rail. At least one climbing plant, dahlia, lavender, roses, the black violet "Molly Sanderson" and some others I probably will buy because they are irresistible.

 

 

Today I just got a haunting feeling that I had to visit a second hand shop I usually never visit or even think of. I have only been there once before and that time I didn`t find anything of interest at all. But something weird made me think of this shop today and I put on my black, spiked sneakers and walked down to the town center in the sun.

I didn`t see them at first. I talked to the shop owner and then I had a look around at all the clothes and some jewelry. I lifted my head a bit and there on the largest wall they stood on a shelf just waiting and longing for a new owner to give them love and excitement. My heart skipped a beat and I instantly took them down and turned them to see the size. My size!!! The price tag was on the sole too and said only 95 Sek.

I asked the girls behind the counter if I could try them on. Sat down on their yellow, vintage rococo sofa and kicked my sneakers off. I walked over to the fitting room with a mirror and saw how good they looked on my feet. The only other costumer, a middle aged lady, said that she loved them on me and I was of course in love.

 

Welcome home

I got an old photo with new retouch from the greatest photographer ever Rasmus Fredriksson. This is from the shoot where I was supposed to be a pin-up-zombie. With this retouch I look more like a deranged housewife. How cool. Makes me laugh.

 

Today I finally got to color the horrible outgrowth in my hair. I always feel so trashy when I haven't done it in a while. I really hate coloring my hair too. It is truly one of the most boring things to do. 

The color I use is Tints of nature. It`s not tested on animals, they have permanent black color and it have better ingredients than most of the ones you get hold of in the stores here in Sweden. Tints of nature are even Vegan.

You can buy it at a store called Life here but they charge you 209 sek for one box. Horrible!!! I get mine at Ebay around 70 sek per box. And it`s a good thing that I can get them cheaper, I use two boxes just to color my outgrowth...Yes I have a lot of hair on my little head :P I think the color stays on well in my hair, I haven`t felt any irritation of any sort and I think it smells OK.

I would like to color it blueblack sometime but it don`t seem to exist any good ones out there that are cruelty free, permanent and in blueblack. Color it with semi permanent color is just way to much work for me. So I thought I would ask if any of my readers know of any hair color that suites my wishes??

 

Otherwise I have been a good girl and done my workout too. Today spinning was on the plan again. And tomorrow after work I will get my ass out for a run. Hopefully I can keep this up. 

Here you have a pic of my tired face... That later got very, very irritated! Stupid people who goes to spinning class to look themselves in the mirror and chat with their friends can all go to hell... I don`t like fuck arounds at the gym. Why do they even bother. These girls didn`t even have on any resistance on their bikes and when the class was over they locked just as pretty and dry as when they came in...

I guess I can thank them for one thing though. All the anger made me workout even harder than normal.

 

 

 

 

 

Ok. So I work and workout. Not much fun to blog about. And since Christian is in the studio growling his heart out I try to make whats left of the evenings when I get home not to boring. Thank you Ninni for reminding me to watch Metalocalypse. It`s the perfect series to make time fly^^
