Legion of the damned, Behemoth & Cannibal Corpse

Yes! finally I have some extra time on my hands and can present you with the pictures I managed to take att the conserts/mini-festival I went to in Gothenburg last week. They are not my best work but I only had my small camera and the smoke-machines where heavily used.

Sara, Veronica & I stayed at a youth hostel that was really nice. So we rested there a little while before we got us an beer to start the night. That beer was nice but made us miss the fist consert with Misery Index. I was kind of bummed but what can you do. At least we didn`t have one more and missed Legion of the damned. I have not been listening to anything they have done before but I kind of liked what I heard. They got us on a good mood and started the night off in a good way.

Sadly for Legion of the damned they did not compare to how great the next band was.

Behemoth where freaking awsome. This was so far the best performace I have ever seen. The atmosphere they created and the stage scenery was super. I fell in love with the cobra microphone-stand and loved that they have such grim scene costumes and make-up. I really liked their performace as a whole and they left me craving for more. The best of all was the feeling that they really wanted to be there and rock the hell out of us and life in general.

There where quite a lot of smoke and at the end my contact lenses started to become very blurry. I couldn`t see much... They got ok again in the "waiting-time" until the next band.

Cannibal Corpse knows their stuff and you can tell they have done it a million times. I thougth they where going to be the climax of the night but I was wrong. Don`t get me wrong, they rocked. But it felt a bit predicteble and simple after Behemoth.

Towards the end of the show I was extremely tired in my body. The back ached after standig still for so long and where so painful that I actually was thinking of going to the disgusting toilet just to sit down a second and rest. Luckily I could hold it out.

We all felt like old ladies after it all so we went directly to our youth hostel and relaxed to a documentary about frogs before going to sleep^^

The overall feeling was that we where all really happy with our night at Full Of Hate.

Monday music

The news about Black Sabbath not playing together after all this year here in Sweden made me quite dissapointed. But what can you do. We have the tickets but are not sure if the replacement consert "Ozzy and friends" are something we want to see. I think we are kind of still hoping Tony Iommi will get much better and that Bill Ward will get a decent contract he can sign.

Here you have Stillborn by Black Label Society.

Ozzy are doing guest vocals here for one of his friends Zakk Wylde which are supposed to be joining in the replacement consert.

Crazy cool stuff. I love it both the song and video.

By the way. Fuck yeah I`m good. Today I did 75 minutes of power walking straight after work. I got big fluid filled blisters under my feet...But it was worth it. (need new walking shoes) And I have only eaten healthy food today too. I`m avoiding the scale until next saturday... Just to make it a bit moore exiting^^

I think I will rest from the power walking tomorrow. Maybe I`ll try to do some crunches and stuff just to torture myself.

Zzz Sweet dreams

Long day. Work was ok. Had a great walk with my friend Sara. And have now eaten my last snack for today. Quite tired now so I think I will turn in sooner than later.

My healthy night snack. Vegetables, cottage cheese and spices.

First day of "detox" went well. Really happy with that. My trick is too eat small, healthy meels often (2-3 hours between) I get low bloodsugar easy and i can`t afford to slip...

Oldie i love. Not metal you say!!! Well, this is heavier than som much other shit out there so shut up^^

Solution 45.

I think my boyfriend Christian deserves some xtra attention here on my blog! He is currently working day and night with his music and his day job AND still finds time for me.

Therfore i will give you one of his music videos from his band Solution 45.
Solution 45. are one of the more "softer" bands that he sings in. Both clean and growling vocals.

I think it can be somthing for many of you guys out there in cyberspace^^

Hopefully you will find it to be a new favorite band.
This is the ballad of the album. No growls, only clean vocals. Really one of the gems. The funny video you can see as a great bonus!

Miseration-Dreamdecipher

Motörhead

Som jag har berättat såg vi Motörhead på Lisebergshallen den 9. December. Vi fick sova hos en kompis som bor i Götet och som dessutom bor ett stenkast ifrån konserthallen. Riktigt snällt! Tack som F*n Strömberg:)

Här har vi Christian och Sara på förfesten...skulle tro det var efterfesten men ;)

Måste bara visa upp min älskade Christian igen. Han är ju bara så sjukt söt hihi.

Jag hade glömt kameran hemma i stressen innan vi skulle åka med tåget så det blev bara crappy bilder från iphonen. Sjukt tråkigt.

Motörhead gav oss en riktig grym show. Sjukt rutinerade gubbar som vet vad dom gör. Mikkey Dee slog brutalt hårt på trummorna och det kändes som han gav allt. Precis som jag tyckte förra gången jag såg dom i Karlstad. Vi var jättenöjda efteråt och firade med ett stort vrål i hallen.

Nästan tomt

Vi gick ut i regnet och vinden efteråt och letade upp en Burger King för nattmat.

Vi var taggade på att fortsätta kvällen med en pubrunda.

Men efter maten kom vi till förnuft och traskade hem istället. Dock med ett par pauser då Christian var onormalt sugen på brownies^^ Tror han klämde i sig två pluss en glass på Burger King. Hade det Mc Donalds vi gick förbi sist varit öppet hade det blivit en glass till!!!

Det blev sådär med kvalitetsömn under natten då jag sov på liggunderlag. Jag är för gammal för sådant och överlever knappt en natt haha. Men som plåster på såret gick vi och käkade en helt fantastisk brunch innan vi tog oss mot resecentrum.

Snö

Det har kommet snö igen. Men den ligger där och ser allmänt grå, tråkig och väldigt blöt ut. Usch. då kan det kvitta tycker jag. Jag vill ha krispig, knarrande glittrig snö som gör att allt ser ut att komma från en sagovärld. Vintertid passar det i alla fall extra gott att lyssna på Immortal. Så jag lägger upp lite musik som tröst i väntan på den riktiga vintern.

Tänk att man ska få se Ozzy skutta runt vrålande som bara han kan och inte för att gömma så skall jag faktiskt se Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler och Bill Ward rocka loss livs levande!!!

Jag trodde aldrig dagen skulle komma. Hoppas ingen kolar vippen innan jag hinner se dom bara >.<

Ljuva toner och randigt

I går fick jag paket!!! Alltid lika roligt även om man själv har beställt grejerna.

En ny lila-svart randig mössa för 29 kr! Billigt och bra. Från Ginza..

Det blev en ny "icke-metal-skiva"! då jag har fallit för denna vackra dams röst. Hon heter Claire Maguire.

6 days to go...

Som ni säkert fattar så har inte bloggande varit prioritet i helgen då jag har haft familj på besök. Vi har haft jättemysigt och slappat en del. Nu är det ny rolig jobbvecka och vår semester resa till Österrike närmar sig. Det är 6 dagar kvar till Söndag då vi sticker så snabbt som möjligt från stan. Kan knappt vänta.....

So much music so little time

Arrrg! Jag vill lyssna mer på musik men jag får aldrig liksom tiden att räcka till, och toppa det hela med att mina hörlurar till iphonen är trasiga. Dum som är har man blitt kräsen och vill inte lägga ut pengar på nåt halvdant nytt heller. Det får gärna vara "in ear" pluggar med skit najs ljud. Likadana som gullet skaffade. Kruxet är bara att dom ligger på 1000:- Hmm, jag får väl se om jag hittar några ok så länge och spara ihop till dom bra!
